Assess

Treat
Treatment may include chiropractic adjustments, hands-on soft tissue work, cupping, instrument-assisted techniques, and movement strategies—depending on what makes sense for you.
What can chiropractic care help with?
Meet Dalen
Dr. Dalen Matthysen, DC, MSc (Sports Medicine)
Dr. Dalen Matthysen is a second-generation, locally raised chiropractor focused on working with people who want to get back to work, training, and the activities they enjoy.”.
After completing a Bachelor of Kinesiology at the University of the Fraser Valley, he earned his Doctor of Chiropractic and Master of Science in Sports Medicine from the University of Western States, graduating Summa Cum Laude.
His interest in rehabilitation began at 17, when he experienced and rehabilitated his own football knee injury. Since then, he has worked extensively with high-school athletes and served as one of the chiropractors for the BC Lions, bringing hands-on sports experience into his clinical practice.
I use the assessment to decide what treatment makes sense for you, based on your symptoms, movement, goals, and preferences. Treatment may combine chiropractic adjustments, hands-on techniques, where I’ll explain what I’m finding, what we’re treating, and what you can do between visits to support your progress.”
Most importantly, Dalen believes patients should feel heard, informed, and empowered throughout their care.
